We chose to lead with 100% organically grown blue corn for a number of great reasons. The most readily apparent is its unique, eye-catching color.

A lot of people ask the question, “Is the corn really blue?” The answer is yes! That eye-catching, deep indigo color you see in our chips is 100% all natural, right off the cob! 

Along with being a very pretty corn, it is also a very tasty corn. Where some major market brand chips taste mostly of starch, salt and oil, when you bite into one of our Blue Farm chips you immediately notice how flavorful corn can actually be.

We are pretty convinced that once you taste the difference you won’t go back to our pale competitors! 

Perhaps most importantly, though, we chose organic blue corn because of its hearty nutritional value. Against other, more traditional non-GMO varieties of yellow or white corn our organic blue corn is (up to) 20% higher in protein and 7% lower and fat.

Additionally, the blue hue in our corn is from anthocyanins, which contain antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties and is also believed to help protect against obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Furthermore, blue corn has far less indigestible starch than its yellow or white kin, which means that pound for pound our chips work harder to provide better nutrition for you than any other bag on the block!
